Okay kids, I promised you a test drive report on the Ice Bear chopper trike. Well, it's an interesting machine to ride where it feels exceptionally stable because of the trike design. The first day out I had a little getting used to the springer front end and clutchcombination, but with a little time the feel comes. But the long forks and springer front end give an nexceptionally smoooth ride that's so unlike the choppy ride of shorter bikes. Ice Bear is an interesting motorcycle company. Most of their bikes of all types are three wheelers. That's their own special niche in the market.
One cool feature on some of their three wheel bikes is a reverse gear. That's especially useful on any larger bike. And while the v-twin engine is only a 250cc, it still has very adequate power without getting into some $26,000 to $50,000 machine. This Ice Bear model retails for $7995.00, but can be found on a few websites for around half that amount which is a real deal for such a decent quality machine.
For such a low entry price, Ice Bear, a Chinese brand, that uses some Japanese and Taiwanese parts in their bikes, makes a cool product that borrows more than few cues from custom Harley trikes costing a lot more. Ice Bear makes some pretty good toys for grown boys. I'd recommend them as a great toy maker. I like good toys.

I appreciate your sheer guilelessness, Paul.
Being so close to the mother chapter of Hell's Angels (not to mention being probably 100 ft from the apartment of someone who rides an equally-priced wailing 140mp rice-burner to work every day) while sitting on an underpowered Chinese three-wheeled Thing that might get you assaulted.
Your cool without even trying!
Glen Ford Western cool!

Thanks for the info guys. I'm surprised if a guy can buy single units direct from China, but I know trade keeps changing. Previously only shipping containers of 40 units were sold by many manufacturers from there. But the direct price from China is so good a guy should consider becoming a dealer of these.
Overall, the bike is pretty good and a ball to ride. The only real issue was that the front fender was made of thin material and was warped, so I'm trying to get it replaced. But otherwise this bike is an awesome value. Compared to a $26,000 Ridley or $45,000 Harley trike, this bike is real affordable. And it looks cooler than than those $7,000 CF Moto trike conversions which only have a 150cc engine. One heck of a cool looking machine for the money.
Despite the long forks and springer front end, this bike steers real nice and has a very smooth ride. My brother likes the ride of this bike better than his Corvette, even though it has electronic ride control settings. This is a great bike for the money. I highly recommend buying one. The quality for price is real good.
