JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater spoke out for frazzled flight attendant's everywhere after an altercation with a non-compliant passenger and let loose on him over the P.A. From The New York Daily News:
"To the passenger who called me a m---f--er, f--- you," flight attendant Steven Slater ranted over the intercom, passengers said."I've been in the business 28 years. I've had it. That's it."
After activating the emergency exit and sliding down to the tarmac, Slater returned to pick up his bag and rode the AirTrain to his car parked the the JetBlue lot, cops said.
After that he grabbed a couple beers from the galley on the way out as well. Here's how his arrest is described...
Cops found him in bed with his boyfriend when they arrived to arrest him at a beachfront home in the Rockaways with a porch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, sources said.

What appears to be missing in this story is what happened to the passenger involved. From what I've read, he should be in the custody of Homeland Security on Federal charges for leaving his seat before the plane reached the gate. The airline also should charge the passenger with assault and a hate crime since he slurred an obviously gay man. But, of course, this miserable piece of shit walked off the plane a free man, since the TSA was too busy searching the vagina of a 6-year old for explosives.

I can remember a time when you 'dressed up' to fly in an airplane. Food was served on real china. Now it's just a flying Greyhound bus with all the attendant problems of that 'class' of passengers.

I took the same flight with him a week or so ago. He looked frustrated but behaved well and professionally throughout the flight INCLUDING some one who tried to get up before the plane stopped (I think it should be legal for any passenger noticing someone getting up early to elbow the bastard or bitch anywhere it hurts until they sit down - they are endangering others as well as themselves). This was brewing for a while. Still, the acting out was unprofessional, and should not be rewarded with all this positive notoriety.
