TLC is changing Jon and Kate Plus Eight to Kate Plus Eight, beginning Nov. 2. TLC president Eileen O'Neill said in a statement,
"Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family," The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it; we feel that Kate's journey really resonates with our viewers."
Apparently that's the polite way of saying, "Get that douchebag and his skanky girlfriends and mistresses off the air!"

Now if they truly wanted to do the best thing for those kids, they'd cancel the series. Actually if Jon and Kate truly wanted the best for their kids, THEY'D cancel the series. How 'bout it, Kate? Jon? Anyone listening? CPS??

I'd say they had problems long before the show started - but having 6 babies/toddlers with two other kids isn't going to stabilize any marriage, especially when there's a crew filming 24/7 and editing for the 'drama'. That's a feedback loop just waiting to go out of control.
You don't get the best from ANYONE when they're constantly on-camera.
Kate's a bitch, Jon's a jerk, the kids are screwed, the producer goes on to the next project w/a bonus. Only one winner - and it ain't the family.
