A Belgian teenager has told police how she emerged from a tattoo parlor with 56 stars over one side of her face, rather than the three she had asked for, prosecutors said on Tuesday.
"I said this part, the top, is ok, but not the rest," Kimberley Vlaeminck from the city of Kortrijk, about 50 miles northwest of Brussels, told Belgian TV.
She claims she fell asleep during the procedure, and woke up in pain when her nose was being tattooed. When she got home her father called police. But the tattoo artist has another theory. "She agreed, but when her father saw it, the trouble started," Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws quoted the man as saying.
Vlaeminck said she wanted to keep the tattoos on her forehead but would have the rest removed.

Hard to imagine. The pain of a tattoo should be more than enough to wake someone up. A couple years ago, some rats tunneled into my home from some sewer work done by the city in the neighborhood. And twice I woke up when a rat attempted to plant their teeth into me and take a nice bite out of me. Believe me, you will wake up when you feel pain. Incredible that with hundreds of pin pricks of pain, this tattoo girl claims to have felt nothing. It doesn't make sense. Tattoos are a stupid thing that many people do on a lark, but then regret for years later or have to pay thousands of dollars to get removed. Some tattoos make it hard to employment as well. They are usually a huge mistake and a real sign of bad judgment. I'm no fan of tattoos. The human body is too beautiful to be ruined by such cheap artwork by hack artists.

Ha ha! Maybe they put her under, or maybe those are fake "star" tattoos. Or, maybe she said she wanted to be a star someday while in a dream state and the artist took her literally...

She probably fell "asleep" after a few Pharmed Vicodin or Percocet, not an uncommon practice for those worried about pain of tattoos. THe point is that she probably asked for what she got, but once Dad saw it, she had to make up a story. Like that's NEVER happened before in this world.
