The big losses over at CBS ... (Below threshold)1. Posted by Paul Hooson | May 21, 2009 8:14 PM | Score: 0 (0 votes cast)
The big losses over at CBS are the cancellations of WITHOUT A TRACE, an excellent top 20 drama and THE UNIT, an excellent military drama. I'll also miss that small comedy, WORST WEEK, which turned out to be a really funny show, but really had nowhere to go once they were married. NCIS: LOS ANGELES looks like a show I'll watch for sure. I'm definitely a CBS guy.

I am going to miss The Unit. One of the few network TV Shows I watched.
NCIS was ok- not as good as The Unit though.

The Unit was one of the best shows on TV; too bad they ruined it by moving it to Sunday night, where it was a victim of football game, golf and other sporting event overruns. Thanks for nothing, CBS.

Shame on you CBS for taking off the Unit and Without a Trace. Two of your best shows. guess I'll have to find another network. Can't you come up with anything better than CSI's? They are getting real old.

Very disappointed in CBS for cancelling The Unit. It is a great show with a big following.
Someone at CBS needs to rethink some of your fall line up decisions if you want to keep your ratings up.
NCIS started out good but has declined over time. The show is getting stale and the characters and their roles are now too predictable. How does bringing in a second version (NCIS Los Angeles) going to help? I say either write better scripts for the original (and lose NCIS: Los Angeles) or let the original end with it's dignity in tact and bring in NCIS Los Angeles. Question: How is going with one NCIS show that is going down hill and one new NCIS: Los Angeles show going to keep CBS's Tuesday night ratings up. Answer: It's not! Bring back The Unit in one of these slots or . . .
What's the deal with two hours of back to back CRIMETIME SATURDAY shows. Do you really think you can get your ratings up on Saturday night by making us (your audience) sit through two hours of back to back Crimetime. This would also be a perfect spot for The Unit.
Come on CBS. Get with it. Fullfil your audience's needs. We want The Unit, not two hours of back to back Crimetime and/or yet another NCIS. I know you think you've got a winning strategy . . . afterall you have three CSI shows(but has anyone mentioned the fact that this too is getiting pretty monotonous --you can only do so much with a story line).
Thanks for listening.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THE UNIT IS GONE!!!! No matter the night we were watching every show. It had the pressure of 24, a great ongoing story line, and plausable scenario's. This is a huge mistake, this was a huge water cooler show. Who made this decision? Have you noticed that the other networks are bring more drama and entertainment on? This show was mature and didn't dumb down the audience. Next you will can Criminal Minds, another smart show. Please bring the unit back!!!!!!!!!!!!
