- The truly bazaar animation film "9" has finally got a trailer. The Tim Burton produced fantasy epic features the voices of Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer and John C. Reilly. the surreal tale takes place in a world parallel to our own, a post-apocalyptic fantasy in which a band of courageous rag dolls battles for the survival of civilization. Check it out.
- Michael Ausiello is saying CBS has made it's mind up about two of it's shows. They canceled "Without A Trace" and renewed "Numb3rs". Eye execs had one slot left, and they went with "Numb3rs" because it's less expensive to produce.
- The CW will not be renewing "Privileged" for a second season. Fans apparently begged for it to stay but the network is already packed with new shows like "Melrose Place 2.0", "Beautiful Life", and "Vampire Diaries".
- Chace Crawford is definitely on board for the remake of "Footloose". And Miley Cyrus has surfaced as the latest hot young thing being considered for the leading-lady role. Also in the mix? Hayden Panettiere, Amanda Bynes and "Dancing With the Stars" pro Julianne Hough.
- Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks are getting set to produce a big screen biopic about Martin Luther King Jr.. DreamWorks had to acquire King's life rights from his estate b/c of copyrighting. The deal marks the first time that a film has been authorized by the estate.

That 'Nine' looks very... interesting. Might well be worth the money, I think - unless we got the best bits right there.
