- Bravo's debuting a "Gossip Girl"-inspired reality TV show called "NYC Prep" which follows a group of six affluent private school kids around Manhattan. The kids range in age from 15 to 18. Picture a young Paris Hilton cutting her teeth on the big city. La dee da.
- Michael Vick is hoping to play the reality game. The incarcerated NFL star has talked to producers about launching an unscripted program. The documentary series would follow Vick beginning July 20, the day of his scheduled release from federal custody, and show him trying to "make amends for his past."
- Will Ferrell is crawling into the extreme trenches with Bear Grylls for an upcoming episode of Discovery Channel's "Man vs. Wild." Discovery announced Ferrell's guest stint, set to air in June, at its Wednesday upfront presentation in Los Angeles.
- The Oxygen Net loves them some Tori Spelling. Not only has the chick network picked up Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood for a new season, but that it also has two other boob-tube projects in the works as part of a new multiplatform development deal with the couple. Including a telemovie about their marraige.
- Elisabeth Shue is set to star in Alex Aja's "Piranha" remake. A 3D remake. Shue is playing the role of Sherrif Julie Forester, a take-charge authority figure in the community of Lake Victoria - where the action/ankle-biting takes place.
- OctoMom Nadya Suleman confirmed she will be doing a TV show with her 14 kids. "What I'm doing with this TV show is basically creating documentaries about the lives of my children. It's going to be an ongoing thing, and it will follow them from now until they are 18," Octo said.
