
- Hot live-action preschool series "Yo Gabba Gabba" continues to expand beyond its TV roots. The show, which just scored a third season order from Nickelodeon, has spawned a live tour -- which first hits Australia next month, with the U.S. to follow -- and a feature in the works for 2010.
- IRON MAN 2, directed by Jon Favreau and starring Robert Downey Jr., began principal photography today. On set to shoot a large seen was a wonderful last minute cast addition, Mr Garry Shandling.
- If you're like me you were shocked at the over $70 million Fast and Furious pulled in over the weekend, but that's why producers make the big bucks. Last thursday (April 2) the movies star, Paul Walker, told press F&F5 is already a go. Go figure.
- Remember when Kiefer Sutherland starred with Julia Roberts in Joel Schumacher's "Flatliners" back in 1990? Well a reunion of sorts is upon us. Kiefer will be starring in Joel Schumacher's newest venture "Twelve". And Kiefers costar? Julia's niece, Emma Roberts. The Nick McDonnell-novel "Twelve" tells of teenage drug use and decadence on the Upper East Side.
- The producers of the Melrose Place reboot has found another actress willing to put her next Lifetime flick on hold for a shot at some of that old soapy magic. Laura Leighton will reprise her role as the scheming Sydney Andrews.
- Sony Animation is pre-emptively picking up Hip Hop by Greg Ostrin and Michael Weiss. In Hip Hop, the Easter Bunny decides to retire and hides out as a pet with a suburban family, turning their lives upside down.
