There really does come a time when stars need to step aside... But it looks like Madonna's going to go the way of Mae West.

I've been in involved in music for many years, both as a singer, and as a retailer, and I'm so surprised that Madonna has continued to fascinate the public and continue to sell records. I really thought that she was a one-hit wonder 45rpm single act at one time. But her career has been rather skillfully managed and she manages to create new controversies and other events just to stay relevant. It's all been very impressive retail business. Madonna and her agents are retail geniuses. If only these same financial geniuses could manage our economy, we'd all be rich.

Yeah, that's a great sentiment, but instead we have tax cheats and a guy that's never run anything except a campaign successfully. Madonna might have been a better choice. I'd even take Wilford Brimley, he pays his taxes. How about Robert Loggia, who in their right mind would mess with that guy?

Madonna is a old lady. No amount of bright lights or photoshop can make that old hag attractive except maybe to an 80 year old blind guy. Hang them up Madge!
