Dennis Quaids Puppy Love

Here's Dennis Quaid apparently with his pug dog at LAX airport in California yesterday.
Dennis holding the dog like a baby. Scrunched up / squishy body. Dog posing for the photogs. Tongue out. Adorable.

That pug is obnoxiously overweight.

Tom, that's pretty much what pugs do. It takes a pretty strong owner to not love his (or her) pug enough to refuse food.
I used to have a pug who was on the plus side and it took a real effort to get him slimmed down.
I hope that old guy in the pic has a long healthy life. He is adorable.

BlogDog:I'm a dog ... (Below threshold)

BlogDog:

I'm a dog owner, and my brother-in-law has a pug. I can say with lifelong experience that it's very simple to control a dog's food intake no matter what the type of dog. My brother-in-law has had a pug for at least 5 years and it's perfectly healthy, and is at a perfect weight.

Actually, it's as simple for me to control a dog's food intake as it is to control mine, and I have no problem exercising either.

This picture is the epitome of the lack of even the smallest discipline in the United States for food and exercise, whether it be for pets or for people.
