The new Gallardo, which boasts a 560-horsepower engine, will prowl Italy's autostradas in search of the country's notoriously lead-footed drivers.
The custom made sports car is equipped with a specially designed mini fridge, which will be used to transport organs and plasma to help save the lives of traffic accident victims. It also comes with a defibrillator for use in emergencies.
The Gallardo, which costs £140,000, will replace an older Lamborghini which the police have been using since 2004.

You guys know how to really complicate things.
In Canada, unsophisticated as we are, we vote for candidates only. Name and party affiliation. Four or five on a sheet of paper. Indicate our choice by a simple cross in a circle. You fold the paper, hiding your choice. The electoral officer rips off a strip and returns the folded paper to you and you drop it in a cardboard box.
At the end of the voting period, the box is carried away to HQ and votes are counted.
Vote stops at 7 pm, for example, and electin results start appearing on tv by 7.30. Usually
the final country-wide results are given around 9 tko 9:30 pm.
A simple life. Too simple ? Do you really prefer fraud ?

re 6 and 7
Our French Canuck of ME descent [sic] had been sucking on the hookah a little too long and posted on the wrong thread.
There;s one of these in Italy. Have you seen what most Italian Polizia drive in? That's what a socialist economy is like.
