- Showtime has renewed its top-rated drama series "Dexter" for two more seasons. The premium cable network has ordered 12 episodes each for Seasons 4 and 5, with the S4 going into production in the spring.
- Bridget Moynahan will co-star opposite Donnie Wahlberg in Jerry Bruckheimer's pilot for TNT called "Bunker Hill". The drama centers on a cop dealing with the crime, corruption and deceit in the Bunker Hill section of Boston.
- Vince Vaughn is in final negotiations with Fox Broadcasting Co. on a deal to develop and executive produce a half-hour pilot about a couple of young men who are just out of college and starting to experience the real world. Vaughns sister Victoria will also executive produce.
- A trailer for The Haunting in Connecticut is out. The movie claims to be based on the true story of a family's supernatural ordeal after they move to CT to seek treatment for their sons cancer. Soon the son grows increasingly disturbed by paranormal activity that seems to inhabit and possess the house.
- Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Films have acquired an untitled film about a family that goes on safari in Africa, gets lost and has to battle wild animals and bad guys to get back home.
- Castle Rock has picked up "Book of Shadows," an action-adventure as a directing vehicle for principal Rob Reiner. The story follows a young man who must embark on the perilous journey of first love and face many trials of maturity while on the dangerous quest to close a mythical tome called "Book of Shadows" in order to restore balance to the world.
