Lourdes Gets Mitzvahed !!

Madonna held a Bat Mitzvah for her daughter Lourdes at the Kabbalah Center in New York City, New York. Lourdes turns 12 on October 14th. And here's something that just blew my mind... Lourdes and her girl friends actually look 12!!

Interesting. Madonna named Lourdes after a Catholic shrine and wanted the Pope to baptize her. She said she wanted Lourdes raised as a Catholic. She had Rocco christened at Dornoch Cathedral.

I guess this cult just made her forget....

I hope it was a lot of fun for her. I guess if she had a good time, that's what matters. Madonna herself, well, I think she's had to find her niche, religiously speaking. I don't think too highly of kaballah, scientology, or any of the current "fad" religions of hollywood, but that's their right to worship as they please.
