Model/actress Angie Everhart's bid to bring choking charges against her ex-boyfriend has fallen flat - Los Angeles authorities have dropped the case.

Actor Chad Stansbury was accused of violently attacking Everhart during a fight in August, but officials representing the Los Angeles County District Attorney won't pursue the case because there isn't enough evidence to prosecute.

The actress/model, who recently reconciled with another ex-boyfriend - Joe Pesci - told police that Stansbury choked her during a heated argument and fled the scene, according to TMZ.com.

He was arrested and booked on suspicion of domestic violence.
