Tom Hanks to the rescue!

Talk about making an entrance! A British couple - in Rome for their wedding - thought they had met with a wedding disaster when they became stranded in traffic on their way to be wed at the famous Pantheon. The traffic was caused by filming of Angels & Demons, starring Tom Hanks.

Roads had been closed all around the city, but when he heard about her plight, Tom, 53, yelled "cut!" on a scene and helped Natalia, 27, from her car and escorted her across the film set on foot before delivering her to the door of the Pantheon.

Natalia, of Bromley, South East London said:"There was my dad on my left and Tom Hanks on my right as we sprinted across the piazza - I couldn't take it in properly. He told me I looked stunning and he was holding my veil as I ran along."
