The makers of Paris's new reality show, in which she holds auditions to find a new BFF (best friend forever), were hoping for a huge turn-out of potential applicants for casting calls.

However, they didn't get the number of people they had hoped for. One source tells OK!: "There were less than 40 people there."

Despite the low number in attendance, there was lots of variety. One person who auditioned reveals: "There were girls wearing matching pastel prom dresses with Swarovski crystal pendants and updos, ghetto-fabulous girls and two goth-inspired girls with bleach blonde hair, pale makeup, eyelash extensions and leather clothing."
