Jessica Simpson hit by kidney infection

jessica_simpson.jpg

Singer and sometimes actress Jessica Simpson made an unexpected appearance Monday - at a Los Angeles hospital.

She wasn't there to cheer up the patients. The blonde star was suffering from a minor kidney infection.

According to the Associated Press, Simpson was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday and released, and her representative says she's doing "much better."

Although Simpson is reportedly working on a country music album, her most recent work has been on the big screen. Her star turn in "Blonde Ambition" proved a flop (it's very brief and very limited release in the United States garnered slightly more than $6,000).

Jessie, Jessie, Jessie. Did... (Below threshold)
JoeC:

Jessie, Jessie, Jessie. Didn't your momma EVER tell you: "Pee after sex"? Its called "newlywed complaint" for a reason. (Ok, sexually active complaint in your case.) Alright, drink plenty of fluids and take your orange pee pills for a week and you'll be back in the pink before you know it.
