Is the Writers Strike Over?

16writers-600.jpg

LA Weekly's Nikki Fink is reporting on her blog that at least one of the big players in the Writers Strike was boasting that the 3 month old strike is over. (Note: Peter Chernin is the CEO of Fox.)

Fink writes:

So I've just been told that Peter Chernin did make it to Super Bowl XLII after all. (Heck, it's News Corp's Fox Sports televising it, and Phoenix is only an hour's corporate jet ride away.) And the mogul is telling Hollywood folk there that "the strike is over", according to emails coming fast and furious out of that venue.

As well, Eonline sites a sorce as saying "We are 99.9 percent of the way there. As of late yesterday, just a few small issues remained."
