TMZ.com reports that David "isn't exactly in fighting shape."
Spade has reportedly been fighting severe bronchitis and a sinus infection over the past week.
This, combined with a heavy road schedule of gigs was the admission ticket for him to the hospital.
After a workout in L.A. yesterday, Spade collapsed after an adverse reaction to antibiotics. He was taken to the hospital and put on an IV, and is now resting at home and on the mend.
