T.I. was arrested on multiple weapons charges in Atlanta on Saturday for allegedly asking a bodyguard to purchase machine guns and silencers for him. According to authorities, the bodyguard admitted to buying "about nine firearms" for T.I. -- a previously convicted felon -- in the past and "about seventeen firearms" for members of the MC's entourage. The arrest caused T.I. to miss that evening's BET awards, at which he was scheduled to perform. T.I. was also the evening's most nominated artist, and won two awards.
