It's rare that I include a charity to my line up... I was engrossed in 9/11 coverage when I saw this special about the buildings of Ellis Island. Soon to be destroyed, people are coming forward to save these landmarks and I love the idea. Each of us, after all, were immigrants at one time. Lets remember the place that welcomed our ancestors. My Grandfather left his native land of Romania and traveled through Ellis Island over one hundred years ago. He took a new name and forged a new life... His name came from his hometown of Belz, and his life was built on the new opportunities that America provided.
