  • Capcom and Hyde Park Entertainment have signed on Andrzej Bartkowiak as director for the new Street Fighter movie, set to go into production next year. The script has been penned by Justin Marks, who has been involved in the upcoming movie adaptations of He-Man and Voltron.


  • Danny DeVito is trying to convince Billy Crystal to join him for a sequel to the 80s comedy, Throw Momma From the Train. De Vito says, "I love that picture. We should be doing [a sequel]. This year we're doing a special DVD for it and then we're going to try to get someone to play it in theaters for the anniversary, and then we'll see."


  • Spaceballs : The Animated Series will specialize in what the theatrical film did best: spoofing movies and television shows, including such names as The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Terminator and The Apprentice.


  • Emmy Award winner Edie Falco will guest star in three episodes of NBC's critically acclaimed comedy "30 Rock." This is in addition to the previously announced rare guest-starring appearance by Golden Globe winner Jerry Seinfeld.
