Lindsay has no core identity, so she always seem sto be "dressing up" as someone else: on September's Elle she's a Farah Fawcett/Ann Margaret hybrid. Clearly, she's not Elizabeth Taylor, so she should stop insulting "La Liz" by co-opting her look for the cover of Pop.
