Angelina Jolie and Fran Drescher might be an unlikely combination, but they are certainly a lifesaving one, as the duo has teamed up to fight cancer.

Angelina, who lost her mother to ovarian cancer, has joined forces with Fran, a uterine cancer survivor, to do some work with Fran's Cancer Schmancer- a charity devoted to women's health.

"Her mother had ovarian cancer and did not win her battle, so she is going to lock elbows with me and we are going to do some things together. We will do a PSA and maybe go to Washington," Fran said. "We are dedicated to ensure that all women's cancers get diagnosed in Stage 1 by galvanizing and educating, then we can change policy by signing petitions."
