Master P and Romeo Improve Life on Earth

dgsddg.JPG

Master P and his son, Romeo, are taking the fight against what some people deem to be objectionable rap lyrics seriously: They co-founded Take a Stand Records, a label that will put out "hip-hop artists with street music without offensive lyrics." Today the label's maiden digital release with independent online music store AmieStreet.com -- Gutta Music All-Stars, a mixtape of hip-hop singles originally released in May -- comes out, featuring a bonus Master P/Romeo duet called "Let the Kids Grow."

So, how does this piano-laden slow-roller compare to some vintage Master P, lyrically?

Here's what you can expect from "Let the Kids Grow": "Let the kids grow, let the kids dream / I was lost, I used to hustle in the same street / Let the kids win, let the kids play / If we change for tomorrow be a brighter day"
