Disgraced funnyman Michael Richards has jetted off on a spiritual journey to Cambodia in an effort to save his career. The former Seinfeld star hit the headlines last year when a racist rant he delivered during a stand-up show at a comedy club in Hollywood was caught on a camera phone and distributed to the media.
Richards made a public apology to the audience members he offended, but has admitted the incident and repercussions have taken a heavy toll on him.
According to U.S. entertainment news show Access Hollywood, the comedian is visiting remote temples in Cambodia, following the teachings of a Hindu monk.
