Mika Brzezinski, the news anchor on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program has taken a stand against Paris Hilton news and become a bit of YouTube hero for her stand for hard news. When producers tried to force her to lead off the newsbreak with the story of Hilton's release from prison Brzezinski attempted to burn, then tear up the story. When producers reinserted the story in her stack of news items she took the page to the shredder and destroyed it.
"I just don't believe in covering a story like that, especially not as the lead story in a news cast when you have a day like today."
