For a celebrity, the Forbes Celebrity Top 100 is like find out round you were drafted in or if you were sent back down to the minors. In this metaphor the minors would represent... I don't know... Dancing with the Stars, let's say.
The list takes into account what the celeb earnings amount to, media metrics like Google hits, press mentions as compiled by Lexis/Nexis, TV/radio mentions from Factiva and the number of times an A-lister appears on the cover of 32 major consumer magazines.
The balance of the list can be found at Forbes.com.

That has to be the most inane "Top"-anything list I have ever seen. Forbes diminshes its' Wall Street cred everytime it chooses to focus on celebrities.
