- Seth Rogen just finished his latest film, Columbia Pictures' Pineapple Express, which reunites him up with former "Freaks and Geeks" pal James Franco. The comedy focuses on drug dealer Saul (Franco) and his buyer Dale (Rogen) who are forced to go on the run after Dale witnesses a murder.
- HBO is near a deal with Playtone that will turn Vincent Bugliosi's 1,632-page book "Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy" into a miniseries, reports Variety. The ten-parter will debunk long-held conspiracy theories and establish that assassin Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.

Bloody Disgusting that he has a prequel AND a sequel of the popular indi film ready to go. "Lion's Gate owns the rights to it right now, one of these days when they are prepared to get behind it; we're prepared to shoot it. It's all a matter of the money guys."
- Jim Carrey will star in "I Love You Phillip Morris," a dark comedy that apparently isn't about a cigarette brander. According to Variety the Glenn Ficarra and John Requa (the writers of "Bad Santa") directed film actually sees Carrey play a conman whose love for a cellmate leads him to make several prison escapes.
