For the most part, I find box office updates to be pretty pointless, especially when they are included as part of regular local newscasts (they're appropriate here, Tracey, so, I'm not calling you out or anything!).
What is interesting about this list is how much "Spider-Man 3" has fallen. The bottom has fallen out of that movie ($14 million over a four-day weeknd???), and I suspect it's because word has gotten out about how bad it is.

Maybe with 2 huge movies starting out after it, all the possible butts were in the seats.
