We heard an end date for 'Lost' would be announced soon but we had hoped it meant we would have final resolution by this time next year. Now it seems producers are planning on dragging things out for 3 more seasons.
Oh, and they've gone all Sopranos on our ass and will be shortening the seasons from 24 episodes to 16. One saving grace is they plan on making it half seasons running without repeats from February to May in 2008, 2009, and 2010. It also may be moving back to an earlier timeslot.

2010? Seriously? Have they looked at the ratings plunge this show's undergone this Season? I've heard of wishful thinking, but Lost's producers and ABC are smoking some really good MaryJane if they think the audience is going to stick around that long.

I stopped watching Alias after the third season. I might do the same with Lost.

They say Lost is still killing in its time and with its target audence even with the plunge. Mind you the seasons are going down hill. Season Two should have been a WHOLE season with the tail end, playing out like the first season. Thrid Season would have been them meeting up. And then we could have moved on from there. This killing all the tail enders the same season they are introduced was pointless in my opinion.
