Starring Zooey Deschanel, Alan Cumming and Richard Dreyfuss, TIN MAN is a fantastical, out-of-this-world new take on L. Frank Baum's classic book THE WIZARD OF OZ. The screenplay written by Steven Long Mitchell and Craig Van Sickle tells the epic tale of the incredible adventures of a girl named DG thrust from her boring, every day reality into the strange, frightening and wondrous realm of The Outer Zone (the O.Z.). While in the O.Z., DG teams-up to fight the evil sorceress Azkadellia (Kathleen Robertson) with the bizarre and funny trio of Glitch (Cumming), an odd man missing half his brain; Raw, (Raoul Trujillo) a quietly powerful wolverine-like creature longing for inner courage; and Cain, (Neal McDonough) a heroic former policeman (known in the O.Z. as "Tin Men" for the badges that they wear) seeking vengeance for his scarred heart.

Now shooting in Vancouver, British Columbia, TIN MAN is exec produced by Robert Halmi Sr. and Robert Halmi Jr. TIN MAN is scheduled to premiere on the SCI FI Channel in December.
