I guess it (the look on the face) is something learned in modeling school. But they look cookie-cutter (in the picture) right down to the sour expression on the faces. They don't look alluring. The don't look happy. That expression tells me "don't buy this product, it is uncomfortable..." or something. But then again, maybe women see the look differently. Usually up close, I'd say "Face? What face?" But from this distance I just say "Ugh!"

Funny, JoeC: I was thinking the same thing. There is nothing distinctive about these women. And not one Asian woman (and only one black woman??)? This says more about Anna Wintour's preferences than it does about beauty.
