DailyNews is reporting that Kate Hudson is buying soon to be ex husband Chris Robinson a home in Malibu b/c the ex rocker is broke! How is that possible?

Hudson's rep referred us to her lawyer, who said, "Your source is not credible, as the reported allegations are all untrue ... all matters involving Ms. Hudson's and Chris Robinson's separation and custody matters are private matters upon which we will not comment other than to report that they have all been mutually and amicably agreed upon."

Added the source: "They're ironing out their divorce right now, and there will be a line in it about Chris having 'suitable housing' for when Ryder comes to stay, but she's not going to buy him the Malibu dream house anymore."
