On Regis & Kelly this past Friday, Kelly Co-Hosted the show with Clay Aiken and things got a little tense when Clay put his hand on Kelly's mouth to keep her quiet. Kelly responds with "Oh thats a no no. I don't know where that hands been." It looks worse than it reads. On Mondays Show she responds to having those clammy sausages touch her lips. And Apparently Howard Stern even called her after the show to chat her up about it.

Kelly Ripa's definitely not a Claymate. The talk show host went off on Aiken this morning on "Live With Regis and Kelly," saying "I don't think he was respectful in any way." She says Aiken was hostile toward her when they shared co-hosting duties on Friday's show.
She especially took issue with Aiken putting his hands over her mouth during an interview. She says you don't do that, even if it's for a laugh.
Regis Philbin says he's shocked the pair didn't hit it off, saying, "In my wildest dreams would I ever think that one day you would have a feud with Clay Aiken."

Get over it Kelly!!
Kelly has been there ? years (day in and day out) and this was Mr. Aikens first time as co-host... I'm sure he was nervous and Kelly should have realized that and shut up for a minute to get in a word.
Hostile toward her!! WHERE??? I saw the whole show and saw ZERO HOSTILITY Kelly was the rude one....she shouldn't have said the things she said on camera. She should've waited until there was a commercial break and point her problem out to him.
I HOPE KELLY RIPPA IS FIRED!!SHE'S VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Kelly is blowing things way out of proportion. Clay Aiken has no experience in co hosting a show. Putting his hand over Miss Mouth's mouth was not meant to be disrespectful but was intended to be a playful joke. Kelly should have addressed the matter off the air if it bothered her. Mr. Aiken meant no harm but Kelly sure did by going on her little rant upon Regis' return. Her intent was to humiliate Mr. Aiken for an innocent action that Kelly twisted and manipulated for her own benefit. If Clay chooses to apologize he should only apologize that his actions hurt her feelings and that she took it the wrong way..not for being rude or disrespectful because he wasn't. Kelly should apologize for making a big deal out of nothing and for not handling the matter in a more appropriate way.

5. Cutting that new glory hole at the Exxon station on the Lower East Side
4. Wrapped around his cock
3. Wrapped around some other man's cock
2. Wrapped around some young boy's cock
And the number one place Gay Faken's hand could have been....

I can't believe this crap that Kelly hath wrought. I sort of liked her a bit, until this stupid behavior she unleashed with Clay. I watched the show live, have rewatched it several times, and my take on what happened with her and Clay was that she was being very overbearing, stepping on Clay's toes - reaching for "her" fans, because she knew the audience was filled with Clay fans, and she was starting to feel it, which went against her ego a bit too much. She turns into jelly (most of the time) when she's with Regis - since Regis is her main man, her "father figure" (he let's her get away with murder, like a "Daddy" would). She was trying to relegate Clay to "speak when spoken to" status. She wanted the show to be hers, and hers alone, regardless of Clay's "co-host" spot. How ungracious of her. Yes, even bitchy, although I don't always like to use that term. But she was probably put off that Clay teased her about her dressing up like him and forgetting the words to his song. She can't take the teasing? And Clay was just playing to the audience the whole time, just trying to have fun, keeping things light. Which for the most part, he did, and he was quite enjoyable to watch.
To Kelly: Yes, Kelly, you wouldn't shut the f**k up, when it was obvious that Clay had a question or two for the guests. So what, he put his hand over your mouth... don't you realize what an a** you were for talking too much? Riding roughshod over his subtle attempts to make a comment? I know exactly how Clay felt - I deal with similar interruptions every day from my own DH, and other folks I know who talk too much, or try to run you over with their words. It's a pain! And if anyone knows Clay - he's almost as germophobic as Howie Mandel - not wanting to touch things, people - he probably washes his hands as frequently as possible. Gosh Kelly, save your pained, pinched overreactions for off-camera! That was so uncalled for. Yes, unprofessional. Get a grip there, gal! Are you afraid Clay is after your or Regis's job?? Relax! He won't be working on your show, probably ever! Don't be so frigging nasty with your co-hosts. It wasn't nice of you, of the "hostess", to act that haughty. Guess your years of being on a "soap opera" has really affected your way of being. Too bad.

While I was watching Friday's show, I was thinking to myself that Kelly was being VERY rude to Clay by not letting him ask Emmitt and Cheryl a single question! She just kept rambling on and on, with no regard to Clay being the co-host! Being a co-host means that you both get to ask questions during the interview!!! I wanted to put my hand over her mouth, so that she would shut her mouth for one minute, so that Clay could actually ask one question! He wasn't being rude or hostile toward her! Actually, he was doing what a lot of us viewers wanted to do from home! Even Regis has to shut her up once and awhile! It is Kelly that needs to work on her manners. She was very unprofessional in her behavior during the interview and her comments about Clay on Monday's show . I'm sure that I won't be watching "Regis & Kelly" ever again. She made up my mind for me last Friday.

I love gay men but NO one man or woman are gonna put there hands on my mouth or face. I would have pushed him right off the chair. I feel sorry for Kelly that was really embarrassing. And for all you people who hate her and think her job has gone to her head guess WHAT?? I agree that Clay should not have put his hands over Kelly's mouth, however, she should have taken this up with Clay privately after the show and not rant about it on live t.v. 3 and 4 days later. "Regis & Kelly Show" is not her platform to use to vent her personal complaints, moreover, there was no need to reiterate to the millions of viewers live what everyone had seen/heard with their own ears/eyes on Friday. There was absolute no need for Kelly to humiliate Clay on national t.v. She is the one that needs to apologize not only to Clay, but also to Regis for having put HER hand over Regis's mouth 9 months ago!!. Don't recall Regis made any fuss about it. And noone would have made any fuss about Friday's show, in fact, noone talked about it until Kelly began her ranting 3 days after the show. She isn't the sweet woman after all, what is she, 10 years older than Clay?. She should have known better, I hope she gets fired, she's a fake woman. I am 1000% sure that had Mr. Trump been her co-host and put his hand on her mouth, that she would have never gone off on the most famous New Yorker, just because she did not know Clay on a personal level like she knows Trump and others, did not give her the right to treat her co-host this way. Shame on you Kelly.

How many of us get the flu shot, wash our hands after going to the bathroom, or after going to the park with our kids??? All to protect ourselves against germs/bacteria which may cause us to get ill. Both Kelly and Clay's livelyhood is based on the fact that they are in the public eye and have to face on "National TV or in concert", millions of fans. Imagine if you bought a ticket to Clay's sold out show but he had to cancel it because he got sick from someone putting his/her hand over his mouth. How would you feel then? Last I heard was that it was the Regis and Kelly Show...no more no less!!! Was Clay disrespectful, absolutely. Think of it this way, your in a boardroom with 5 subordinates and as you are conducting your meeting, one of your subordinates puts his/her hand over your mouth. What would you do? Exactly!!!
Kelly and Clay have already moved on, has should we. The more perminant problem is the fact that Rosie "outed" Clay as a gay man. Is she now the expert???? If someone should be apologizing, it should be Rosie to Clay. And Clay, being a former teacher, I'm sure understands where Kelly was coming from, hense the fact that he's already sent her flowers and apologized.

Drama queen she is. I think she was the hostile and unprofessional one in this case. She was so upset because for one day someone else took the spotlight. Clay Aiken has a lot of fans and majority of the audience were probably there for Clay. Kelly seemed rude to them, Clay and even to Emmit and Cherly. She was all gah gah over Mario and made it seem like he had won the dance off??? From what I understand there are pictures surfacing where Simon Cowell and Regis and others have placed their hands over her mouth..... and ........what....nothing was ever said by her then. It comes down to the fact she is an attention seeker and the focus of attention was not on her that day but on Clay Aiken. I'm so glad I'm not a no touchy feely ice princess. Clay can put his hands anywhere he wants on me.

If Kelly was concerned about germs she should have said something that mentioned germs, not "I don't know where that hand has been".
If Reuben Stoddard had been the guest host and Kelly and said, "Your hand is oily" or "black with dirt" -- the unconsious racism would have been revealed.
Kelly was clearly and repeatedly upset at Clay and sought to retaliate with words that unconsciously revealed homophobia -- Rosie O. was correct -- while Clay may not be gay (and Rosie did not say he was), to treat someone in this manner whom you or the press believes to be gay, is homophobic.
Gay people are the ones who get to define what actions are homophobic, just Black, Hispanic, Asian, etc. people get to define what actions are racist, just like women get to define what actions are sexist.
I applaud Gibson and Richards for recognizing they did something inappropriate and seeking to correct it -- all of us have racism, sexism, homophobia and more within us. When we acknowledge the black man walking toward us on the dark street, the woman who is assertive, the person in the wheelchair, the gay man who gives us a hug, etc. makes us uncomfortable we can begin to change our outlook and ourselves. I'm disappointed that Kelly couldn't take this step.

Clay is a man that made it through the rigors of American Idol. If he does not know that it is rude to put your hand over someone's mouth while on the air, then he needs some classes on social appropriateness. We teach children not to do inappropriate things with their hands before they begin kindergarten. The action that Clay took was rude and disrespectful. Since Clay decided to do such and action on the air, I feel that Kelly was well within her right to correct him "on the air"
As for the comment, I say "Do not touch ...because I do not know where your hands have been." to my students. There was nothing homophobic about her statement. That was a true statement. Futhermore, Does Clay know Kelly on a personal level where putting his hand on her anywhere isappropriate? We live in a germ filled world. This incident happened during flu season. Kelly has small children. I fell that her comment dressed up her digusted with Clay's actions so that she would not allow how see really felt to show. She played it off with a comment and a giggle when she realized that her true feelings could be seen by the audience. From her comment, people made assumptions about what she ment. Those assumptions were then taken to an extreme.
Rosie O. is a lesbian that wants the world to see through homosexual glassess. Since she has been on The View, Rosie had made the majority of the topics on the show homosexual issues. Everyone is not homosexual, have homosexual tendencies, think homosexually, relate to the homosexual lifestyle, or want everything they say disected under a homosexual microscope. Rosie took Kelly's comment and made it a platform. As is her style, Rosie went over the top, made rude assumptions and tried to make Kelly into a homophobic person. I was so happy to see that Kelly was on the phone during the Hot Topic session to address Rosie and her assumption. I am proud that Kelly stood up for herself stood firmly.
Rosie is a bully that loves pu***. We all know that. I hope that Barbara Walters made a wise decision putting Rosie into Meredith's position. So far, Rosie has show that she has a hard time controlling her mouth. Roseie also had an issue with people that so not agree with her. Barbara may have to give Rosie the ax before she take over her show. The slope had already become slippery I hope Barbara sees that soon.
