Ellen Barkin's sparkling spoils from her failed marriage to billionaire Ron Perelman fetched her more than $20 million last night in a diamond-studded Christie's auction.
The actress sold off more than 100 pieces of jewelry given to her by the Revlon honcho - including her wedding band, which was estimated to sell for around $50,000 and ended up bringing Barkin $130,000.

The auctioneer's announcement of the sale of the ring - a wide band set with four rows of bell-cut diamonds topped in 18-karat gold - sent a collective gasp through the quiet auction house.

The top seller of the batch was a 22.76-carat diamond ring created by the 20th century American designer JAR, which brought in a little over $1.8 million.
