I wish I could get excited about this show. On the commercials, Matthew Perry's character seems really funny. However, I can't stand the title of the show (nobody outside of L.A. cares about or knows that the Sunset Strip isn't a 'gentleman's club'), and some of the actors bug the heck out of me. They are: Timothy Busfield (makes me cringe), Steven What-His-Name from "Wings", and Bradley Whitford. I know "West Wing" fans love Bradley Whitford, but he's become too ubiquitous at awards shows and political rallies, and that distracts me from being able to buy into the characters he plays.

I watched the show last night and I thought it was good. Basically though it can be summed up as West Wing meets SNL. It is the same kind of behind the scenes rapid fire banter and pace made famous in West Wing and Sports Night but set in a fictional SNL-like show. Pretty much to be expected since all three shows were created and written by Aaron Sorkin.
