I'll tell you why I find this interesting... b/c I can't help but want johnny to be the one who makes box office magic in an era when no one can break 200. It literally thrills me.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, currently lingering on the box-office top 10 (in eighth place), next weekend stands poised to overtake Star Wars: Episode I ($924.3 million) and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers ($926.3 mil) to become the fourth-biggest worldwide release of all time, and inch closer to the billion-dollar mark. As it stands now, the swashbuckling blockbuster has $923.8 million in its treasure chest, good for No. 6 on the venerable list and making it Disney's most successful release ever.
