I'll not only buy it but I'll sleep with it under my covers...

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has finally recorded his ‘Sea Shanties’ album.

Depp has worked with a number of musicians, including Bono, Bryan Ferry and Eliza Carthy to create the album that will be publicly released as well as featuring in the third ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film.

Depp has hoped to enlist the help of The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards, but Richards was forced to cancel after falling from a palm tree.

Eliza Carthy explained: "It was Johnny's idea. He thought that pirates should be singing these tunes on the boat during the film. The producers liked the idea and let him record this album.

"Keith was booked in to come to Los Angeles and record it, but then had that accident. Johnny was really upset and worried for him."

Keith Richards has signed up to play Captain Jack Sparrow’s father in the third instalment of ‘Pirates’.
