Elizabeth Hurley lands Jordache campaign

Gwyneth Paltrow may be the new face of Estée Lauder, but Elizabeth Hurley is back in the spokeswoman game, with a new contract from Jordache jeans. Today the iconic '80s brand announced that Hurley will star in its national ad campaign launching this September.

Shot by Michael Thompson in his New York studio, the ads feature her in classic Jordache jeans but Hurley's particular denim comes from the Jordache Vintage line, already in stores. Another line called Jordache Legacy launches exclusively with Macy's this fall. All have embroidered back pocket stitching.

"We are thrilled to be working with Elizabeth Hurley," said Liz Berlinger, president of Jordache Enterprises. "With success as an actress, model, business woman and mother, Liz represents everything the Jordache brand is about. We chose her because she is the true modern woman."

Proof positive (yet again!)... (Below threshold)
langtry:

Proof positive (yet again!) that the designer jeans market is obsessed with women who are built like pre-pubescent boys. E.H. herself has admitted that her body is that of a "boy with breasts."

Can we get jeans that flatter women with hips and/or an ass, please?
