well if it the end didnt happen on 6-6-6 or 6-6-66 or 6-6-666 why would it end on 6-6-2006? Perhaps it will end on 6-6-6666? I would lay odds that the planet will still be here, even if humans arent.

Six is the Biblical symbol for mankind, as the race was created during the 6th epoch (day).
The 666 phenomenon actually comes from the Biblical passage of Revelation Chapter 13. The issue is not so much the 666 number as what is done with it. It is used to ID the human race and is implanted on one's hand or forehead (Orson, is that you?). Ineresting coincedence, as pets and some people already have an ID chip implanted for ownership confirmation and company security. The Bible says that it is Satan's mark (you know, the provebial leader of demons), and it is used like a credit/debit card. Those who have it: eat. those who don`t: won`t. Good idea - right? You will never have to worry about mis-placing your wallet.
Of more interest is the antithesis... 888 which is the number of Jesus Christ. Does that mean HE will be here Sept 8, 2008? Maybe everone should get crazy and do something nice that day.

Err Well its the 06/06/06
Everything seems to be ticking along quite nicely.
Ive passed the infamous 06:06:06am and am Still quite alive.
No multiheaded beasties as of yet. No Earthquakes, tidal waves, floods or volcanic eruptions.
I think we are safe.
By the way, even if the end of the world does happen on the 06/06/06...... who's date are we going on.
Here in NZ its the devils date allready. but in other parts of the world its still the 05/06/06 or for you americans who do everything backwards to try and be different, the 06/05/06.
So in conclusion.
All the doomsayers are wrong.
And the sun is shining.

Well, Im in the UK, so tomorow is 666 day. I dont really believe it, but people will make such a fuss that SOMETHING is going to happen, and we'll all be like "THE DEVIL!!".
But seeing as im still in school, we're using it as an excuse to get out of doing work. xD

If any of you know the Hebrew alphabet then each word has a number if you take all of the numbers in a certain mans name and add them up u get 666 who is this man?
