HE is the future father-in-law of Aussie actor Heath Ledger and a world-renowned share trading guru who travels the world revealing his stock market secrets.

But, instead of participating in a string of seminars to help Australian investors make millions, Larry Richard Williams, father of Oscar nominated actress Michelle Williams, is cooling his heels in a Sydney jail cell.

Mr Williams, 63, was arrested at Sydney airport on Saturday after US authorities issued a warrant for his return to the US where he is wanted on charges of evading $US 1.5 million in income tax.

Known as the "Million Dollar Man" in stock market circles, he was described in a Sydney court yesterday as "probably the most famous guy in (share) trading in the world".
