According to a report from the 'Queen Of All Media,' Perez Hilton, Clay Aiken is set to perform on the American Idol finale this Wednesday night, marking his first high-profile appearance since recent gay allegations made headlines.
Perez also reports that Clay is scheduled to meet with and give an award to a young fan. (Don't shoot the messenger)
As far as the competion goes, It's McPhee vs. Hicks.
Katharine McPhee and high energy Taylor Hicks prepare for their last faceoff and crowning of the 2006 Idol on Wednesday night, fans of the show are in a state of complete confusion as to who the winner might be.

Clay was great tonight. And as for the "sex scandal," are the media so desperate for controversy that they'll make up crap about a talented, young singer who has done nothing wrong? It's a shame. Clay's straight, and even if he wasn't, it doesn't matter. That has nothing to do with his talent.

I think that was probably one of the best moments of the finale show. And WOWIE WOWZERS! CLAY IS HOTZY! What a great look for him. I thought for sure it would be Elton John coming out, ready to rip that boy to shreds.... but it was CLAY! What a treat!!!!
I think what really made that moment special is watching that boy freak out over Clay. oh my, even I blushed!

I just wanna say that Clay was AWESOME!!!
I haven't seen him around nor heard from him since his last album.
I love his hair, his voice....!!! Ooooo..... His new look is to die for!! Amazing! What a comeback! At least there weren't 2 sets of look-a-likes, as with Chris & the lead singer for Live....

I think Clay's new look was a smart move for him.
"Idol" always seems to use Clay as a butt of their jokes so when he appeared last night completely different from the "idol" look, he proved he was again his own persona. Clay has the talent and hutzpa to creat his own style. I was annoyed that he had to share the stage with a no-talent fan when other performers didn't. Cudos to Clay for being a good sport. But we always knew he was a classy guy no matter what rumors are spread. I'm sure the 200 million viewer audience was impressed and wonder when we'll see more of him. Yes, I agree, he's lookin' fine and still sounds great. Come on Clay- get that album released.

On A/I last night, I didn't even know that was Clay. We all kept saying .."who is that great singer"??? We knew the song but not the face & kept saying "I know that voice". I heard it on The VIEW today that it was Clay Aiken himself... WOW!!! U GO CLAY!!! You outdid yourself last night!! That impersonator was so adorable when he freaked out seeing Clay. To all of us, that was the best scenes on the show.

Soooo...Yeah, I had always thought of Clay Aiken as like this huge loser, (don't be offended, Clay fans, for I have changed.) and I never gave him any second thoughts. This girl I know is obsessed with him and I thought she was crazy. But, when I saw him last night, I was like "Hmmm, who is everyone cheering for, and who is that guy in the background?" The second I saw the impersonator start freaking out I'm like, "Oh...my...God. THAT is Clay Aiken?!?!?!?!?!?!!?" I was sooooooooooooooooooooo impressed. I realized he has an AMAZING voice, and he is incredibly talented. And he looked so hot I absolutly couldn't believe it. I played it back like six times on TiVo going "Wow he's hot, wow he's REALLY hot. OMG HE'S SOOOOO HOT! CLAY AIKEN IS GORGEOUS!" I LOVE what he did to his hair. And come on we need pictures! Here I am 35 years old, still fuming Chris got the boot, I hadn't watched AI since that night, but I decided to watch the finale to see who wins and I am glad I did. My hubby is next to me on the PC and I let out an ear piericing scream, he thought I was dying! He was like huh? what? I am like OMG!! It's Clay!!!!! OMG! He looks so different. Isn't he adorable?? My hubby just rolled his eyes at me, ready to call the mental ward. clay used to be, well ya know- not that great looking. but when i saw him singing at the finale the other night i thought "HE IS SO FLIPPING HOT!" we recorded the finale, and i watch that part of him singing EVERY day for like 1/2 an hour to an hour! i can never get sick of it! :) he is my man.... im glad taylor won though, katherine is a good singer ya, but i think she is looking for a guy's attention.
