Punk band the Sex Pistols have refused to attend their own induction into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.And that was the lucid part of their statement. Oh well, never mind the bollocks...In a handwritten note posted on their website, they called the institution "urine in wine".
"We're not your monkeys, we're not coming. You're not paying attention," continued the statement.
The band, named as inductees alongside Blondie, Herb Alpert and Black Sabbath, were due to take part in an induction ceremony in New York on 13 March.

The Sex Pistols? Sheesh. Lately, I have to keep reminding myself that it's not called the Rock and Roll hall of Talent. More like the Rock and Roll Hall of Star Dot Star.
And Herb Alpert?! Since when did he do anything that could remotely be considered Rock and Roll?
