Don't ask me why I was watching The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, but I was and noticed something odd about his first guest's outfit. Craig was interviewing actress Mary Steenburgen, who was wearing a lacy white spaghetti strap top which seemed a bit too revealing. As well as a 60 inch TV would allow I zoomed in for visual inspection, wondering why the obviously see-through top wasn't exposing her nipples to the tens of late night viewers. It was a that point that I noticed that CBS had employed two circular floating blurs to obscure the view directly through Steenburgen's translucent top. Frequent cuts from front to side shots did throw the CBS editing crew for the occasional loop and exposed not only their visual trickery, but the occasional glance of.. well something resembling 53 year-old nipples...
